Luminox Navy Seal XS.3001.H Heritage Mens Watch
Since its foundation in 1989, Luminox has been committed to producing watches that combine precision, durability and functionality. These values are deeply rooted in the brand's DNA and are reflected in every single model that bears the Luminox name. From the very beginning, the brand's aim has been to develop watches that can withstand the extreme demands of professionals. Whether in the military, the police or other demanding environments, Luminox watches are designed to meet the highest standards. At the same time, they are also ideal for those who lead an active lifestyle and need a watch that keeps up with them. The relationship between Luminox and professionals began with the US Navy SEALs, who recognised the brand for its exceptional durability and visibility in all conditions. This co-operation opened doors to other elite units around the world. The US Coast Guard, the New York Police Department, the Singapore Air Force and the Israeli Special Forces are among the prominent users of Luminox watches. These organisations are specifically looking for equipment that they can rely on in any situation - and Luminox meets this requirement with flying colours. One particularly notable partnership arose from a request from US Air Force pilots flying the F-117 Nighthawk™ stealth fighter jet. These pilots were looking for a watch that was both functional and accurate and that would perform reliably under the extreme conditions they face in their daily lives. This cooperation led to a worldwide licence agreement for the production of Lockheed Martin watches, which today are among the brand's best-known models.
Global expansion and co-operations
In 2008, Luminox expanded its global presence and is now represented in over 50 countries. This expansion is a testament to the trust placed in the brand by customers around the world. Luminox is not only synonymous with quality and reliability, but also with innovation and technological progress.
One example of the brand's innovative strength is its collaboration with Scott Cassell, a counter-terrorism expert and professional underwater explorer. Cassell is an experienced diver who relies on the robustness and reliability of Luminox watches for his expeditions. This collaboration underlines Luminox's ability to develop watches that can withstand the most extreme conditions. In 2015, Luminox initiated the Luminox Special Operations Challenge (LSOC). This unique programme offers civilians the opportunity to train like a Navy SEAL for a day. This event was created to honour the brand's heritage and instill the values of endurance, precision and teamwork that the Navy SEALs embody. The programme is run in collaboration with retired Navy SEALs and offers participants a unique opportunity to test the limits of their physical and mental capabilities.
Technology and innovation
The basis for the unrivalled performance of Luminox watches is the unique Luminox light technology. This technology ensures that the watches light up around the clock, regardless of the light conditions. While most other watches rely on luminous colour that needs to be charged by a light source, Luminox uses a self-luminous system that provides visibility for up to 25 years. This makes Luminox watches a reliable companion in all situations, from night-time missions to adventures in the wilderness. Another outstanding feature of the brand is the use of the innovative CARBONOX™ material. This carbon compound gives the watch cases exceptional lightness and robustness. Luminox has been using CARBONOX™ since 2006, taking the durability and resistance of its watches to a new level. CARBONOX™ is not only extremely resistant, but also corrosion-resistant, making it ideal for use in extreme environments. It's no wonder that professional athletes and outdoor enthusiasts alike appreciate CARBONOX™ watches from Luminox for their durability and light weight. Luminox has been at the forefront of watchmaking for over three decades, setting the standard for precision, durability and innovation. The brand has built a reputation that extends far beyond the boundaries of the watch industry and is a trusted partner for professionals around the world. With a Luminox watch on your wrist, you are equipped for any adventure - be it in the air, on water or on solid ground.
