They say that simplicity is the key to success, and this also applies to watches. Trends come and go, but certain design styles remain timeless despite unstoppable change. This Casio in particular epitomises the spirit of ‘simple and classic’ in its purest form: a simple dial with index and date window. Nothing more and nothing less. But there are two other features of a watch that are hard to say no to: an integrated case and bracelet and a dial in bright colours. So it's no wonder that Casio's new LTP watch series immediately captivates everyone. The LTP series has been an integral part of the brand's portfolio since the 1980s and primarily offers robust ladies' watches made of stainless steel with clear, easy-to-read dials and simple quartz movements. With the recent advent of coloured dials, Casio has added a range of elegant colours to the collection. The case fulfils all the criteria of a typical wristwatch with a super-slim, barrel-shaped case with a smooth, highly polished bezel and case sides as well as a brushed case middle section. There is also a small fluted crown at 3 o'clock, which is water-resistant to 50 metres, a closed case back and mineral glass. Unsurprisingly, the biggest attraction of the Casio LTP is the dial. The metallic brushed surface attracts attention. The dial is light-reflective and has a simple layout with raised, polished baton hour markers and slim, needle-shaped hands for hours, minutes and seconds. At 3 o'clock there is a date window with a white background, at 12 o'clock the Casio logo and at 6 o'clock the water resistance index is printed in white. The watch uses the Casio 1333 module with a rate accuracy of +/- 20 seconds per month. The battery life is estimated at 3 years.
